Chelsea open talks with Real Madrid over Alvaro Morata

Real Madrid activated the £23.5 m buy-out in Morata's contract, having sold him to Juventus 2 years ago.But they are aware some big club will be ready to bid for him.

Alvaro Morata is the joint top-scorer on the Euro 16 in France so far with 3 goals in 3 games.He with his national team has qualified in the last 16 where they will meet Italy.

Reports say that Roman Abramovich was in France to watch the game between Spain and Croatia and the reason for that was reportedly Alvaro Morata.

Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in the Spaniard, but after not managing to qualify for the Champions League, Chelsea will be the favorites number one for Alvaro's sign.
