Who is Michy Batshuayi

Chelsea set to complete the signing of Michy Batshuayi after he completed medical in Bordeaux.

The Belgium striker was a top target for another Premier League teams, including a reported £31 million offer from Crystal Palace.

The fee for Michy Batshuayi is probably around £33 million and it's Antonio Conte's first singing since taking charge of the blues.

Despite being born in Brussels, Belgium, Batshuayi is from Congolese heritage. In 2014 he won the bizarrely named 'Belgian Ebony Shoe' award that honours the performances of Belgian players of African descent.

Batshuayi's move to Stamford Bridge has striking similarities to Didier Drogba's transfer in 2004.

Like Drogba, the 22-year-old will move from the Stade Velodrome to London for a club record fee and is seen as the eventual replacement for Diego Costa.
